Welcome to the Library!
“Know where to find information and how to use it. That’s the secret of success.” – Albert Einstein
The St. George’s Library is an integral part of the educational program and serves as a vital information resource for SGES students, staff, and faculty. Students are encouraged to develop the skills necessary to locate, analyze, evaluate, interpret and communicate ideas and information.
The goals of the SGES Library & Media Center are directed toward enhancing and supporting classroom curriculum and developing informational literate students who can access and use that information in a productive and appropriate way. This goal is accomplished in four direct support activities for students:
- Learning how to read and reading appreciation
- Learning how to use computers and other media in a safe and responsible way
- Learning how to find, evaluate, and use information
- Learning how to use information to communicate
The SGES Library provides school and home access to several online educational search engines and homework resources. Please e-mail Librarian Beth Davidson at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or suggestions!
