Development
St. George's Episcopal School does not receive any public funding, therefore we must rely on the generous donations of parents, grandparents, friends, businesses and foundations to make up the difference between tuition and the total cost of running a great independent school. The Development office raises money and support for the school through Alumni Relations (cultivating a strong network of alumni, parents, past-parents and friends of SGES); Communications (building awareness of St. George's, its mission and its message); and Fundraising (making direct appeals for support from donors, foundations and corporations). Each of these efforts is supported by committees of volunteers consisting of parents, past-parents, grandparents and friends of St. George's.
