The Saint George's Library is an integral part of the educational
program and serves as a vital information resource for SGES students, staff, and
faculty.
Students are encouraged to develop the skills necessary to locate, analyze,
evaluate, interpret and communicate ideas and information.
The goals of the SGES Library & Media
Center are directed toward enhancing and supporting classroom curriculum and
developing informational literate students who can access and use that
information in a productive and appropriate way. This goal is accomplished in
four direct support activities for students:
The SGES Library provides school and home access
to several online educational search engines and homework resources. Please
e-mail Librarian Matthew Roberts at
mroberts@sges.org if you have any questions or
suggestions!
Below are two important
documents for the SGES learning community to be familiar with. The first are the
Policies of the SGES Library and the second document is the Acceptable Use
Policy which all students must have read and signed in order to use any computer
at SGES.
