Students in St. George’s Middle School program are engaged in a rich curriculum that seeks to stimulate a lifelong passion for learning. This is accomplished in an environment that fosters accessibility to teachers and small class sizes in a familial atmosphere. Students’ intellectual curiosity, self-expression, creativity, and desire for exploration are nurtured daily.
Organization, courage, attentiveness, faith, persistence, flexibility, positive attitude, generosity, and responsibility are key traits students develop that enable their individual success. Additionally, they focus on critical thinking skills and are encouraged to investigate new ways of applying what they learn to their lives and the world outside the classroom.
St. George’s Middle School is an academically challenging program that builds on the skills and foundation acquired in the Lower School Program. The Middle School continues to educate students in Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Science, Spanish, Music, Art, Bible & Ethics, and P.E. Additionally, students participate in field trip experiences, athletics and extra-curricular studies that serve as an extension of the classroom experience. Students are motivated and encouraged to strive for excellence and to be aware of the unlimited opportunities available to them.
